October 21, 2022: Monroe, GA 30656 In Friday's non-league match, the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) softball squad routed the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), by a count of 14-6.
The Purple Hurricanes now sport a 18-11 record. They play next when they host Bremen for a non-league match on Saturday, October 22. Monroe Area will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 26-7.
With the loss, Lumpkin County moves to 10-18 on the season.
