October 21, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88007 In Saturday's league contest, the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Trojans face the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 contest, on Tuesday, October 24. Mayfield will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Centennial (Las Cruces, NM).
With the loss, Gadsden moves to 9-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to face the Tigers in a 5A District 3 contest on Tuesday, October 24. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 3-14. Alamogordo lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)
