The Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) flag football were winner over the host Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA), 28-20 in Monday's league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Orestimba for a Trans-Valley League outing on Wednesday, October 23. Hughson will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 32-6 league win over Hilmar (Hilmar, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 18-6.

With the defeat, Escalon drops to 11-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ripon (Ripon, CA) to clash with the Indians in a Trans-Valley League challenge on Wednesday, October 23. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Ripon won 25-18 in their recent league challenge against Hilmar (Hilmar, CA)
