North Carolina High School Soccer - Chase toppled by Polk County
October 21, 2024: Columbus, NC 28722 Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Polk County advances its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 23. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-6. East Rutherford lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC)
The Trojans now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host R-S Central for a non-league test on Monday, October 28.
