October 21, 2024: Spanaway, WA 98387 Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Bethel Bison (Spanaway, WA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Yelm improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Tornados host Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 23. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 2-7. Bonney Lake lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA)
The Bison now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Curtis for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 23. Bethel will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Rogers (Puyallup, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
