Oregon High School Soccer - Irrigon toppled by McLoughlin
October 21, 2024: Milton-Freewater, OR 97862 McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), 9-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, McLoughlin moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign.
The Knights now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Four Rivers for a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 test on Thursday, October 24. Irrigon will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Falcons record now stands at 0-12.
