Maryland High School Volleyball - Sherwood tips Wheaton
October 21, 2024: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Sherwood Warriors volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Wheaton Knights.
The Warriors (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Damascus (Damascus, MD). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Damascus was nudged by Northwest (Germantown, MD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights play the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) in a Montgomery County 2A/3A challenge, on Wednesday, October 23. Wheaton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Screamin' Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD).
