The Bishop O'Connell Knights volleyball squad (Arlington, VA), dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the host The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD)

The Tartans (25-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets enter the WCAC contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, St. John's beat Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic contest, on Thursday, October 23. Bishop O'Connell will attempt to upgrade on its 18-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 14-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC).
