Fans at Friday's league contest between the The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) and the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), observed The Academy of the Holy Cross's volleyball team top Bishop Ireton by a count of 3-0.

The Tartans (16-0) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions go into the Washington Catholic battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Carroll dropped by Paul VI (Chantilly, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
