Buna Cougars (Buna, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Buna improves its record to 20-19 on the season. The Cougars travel to Kountze (Kountze, TX) to face the Lions in a 3A Region III District 22 test on Friday, October 24. The Lions go into the test with a record of 25-12. Kountze lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Hardin (Hardin, TX)

The Buccaneers now own a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kirbyville for a 3A Region III District 22 test on Friday, October 24. East Chambers will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Anahuac (Anahuac, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-17.
