In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Milford Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Fairbury Jeffs.

The Eagles (26-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 8-20 record. In their last challenge, Wilber-Clatonia was edged by Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Jeffs now sport a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilber-Clatonia for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 21. Fairbury will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-20.
