In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Sehome Mariners volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Nooksack Valley Pioneers.

The Mariners (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Storm enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Squalicum was beaten by Meridian (Bellingham, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Nooksack Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Cubs go into the test with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Anacortes (Anacortes, WA).
