In Thursday's league challenge, the host Squalicum Storm volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Sehome Mariners.

The Storm (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Oak Harbor was nudged by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Mariners now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ferndale for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Monday, October 27. Sehome will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
