West Virginia High School Football - Pocahontas County gets by Summers County
October 22, 2021: Dunmore, WV 2493 The Pocahontas County Warriors football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Summers County Bobcats to 20 in the Warriors non-league win on Friday.
The Warriors now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tygarts Valley for a Potomac Valley II battle on Friday, October 29. Pocahontas County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
Coming up next, the Bobcats play the Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV) in a Coalfield A battle, on Friday, October 29. Summers County will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 41-2 league loss to Midland Trail (Hico, WV).
