The Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) football routed the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), 46-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) in a Coalfield A bout, on Friday, November 5. Summers County will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Mavericks enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 25-7 non-league loss to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).
