In Saturday's non-league contest, the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Timberwolves battle the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 22. Spring Valley will attempt to better on its 22-8 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 9-18 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Cabell Midland (Ona, WV).
