October 22, 2024: Hallettsville, TX 77964 Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team gain a win over the host Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX), 3-1 in a league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 33-8 record. They play next when they travel to Edna for a 3A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, October 25. Columbus will clash with a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 league win over Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 20-18.
With the loss, Hallettsville drops to 16-23 on the campaign. The Brahmas host Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX) to clash with the Cobras in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, October 25. The Cobras come into the bout with a record of 30-15. Industrial won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Yoakum (Yoakum, TX)
