Virginia High School Volleyball - Fleming overwhelmed by Franklin County
October 22, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24017 The Franklin County Eagles topped the host Fleming Colonels volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Eagles face the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a Blue Ridge game, on Thursday, October 24. Franklin County will attempt to advance on its 13-9 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 18-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA).
The Colonels (1-18) will now prepare for their game against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles go into the Blue Ridge game with a 2-17 record. In their last game, Staunton River went down by William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
