October 22, 2024: Rockaway Beach, OR 97136 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR) and the host Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR), observed Rainier's volleyball team top Neah-Kah-Nie by a count of 3-0.
The Columbians (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Mavericks enter the 3A Coastal Range contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Riverdale was knocked off by Warrenton (Warrenton, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Pirates meet the Corbett Cardinals (Corbett, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range contest, on Thursday, October 24. Neah-Kah-Nie will attempt to move on its 3-16 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 21-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR).
