The Maury Commodores volleyball squad (Norfolk, VA), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA)

With the win, Granby improves its record to 19-2 on the season. The Comets host Indian River (Chesapeake, VA) to encounter the Braves in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 28. The Braves enter the contest with a record of 13-6.

Next, the Commodores meet the Princess Anne Cavaliers (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 27. Maury will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 12-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA).
