California High School Flag Football - Poly thwarted by Verdugo Hills
October 22, 2025: Tujunga, CA 91042 Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 26-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Verdugo Hills upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to meet the Lancers in a East Valley test on Wednesday, October 29. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 0-11. Grant lost 38-7 in their recent league test against Monroe (North Hills, CA)
With the defeat, Poly drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Parrots host Arleta (Arleta, CA) to face the Mustangs in a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, October 29. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 9-14. Arleta lost 26-13 in their recent league challenge against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA)
