North Carolina High School Soccer - Bunker Hill overwhelmed by Newton-Conover
October 23, 2023: Newton, NC 28658 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) and the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), saw Newton-Conover's soccer squad beat Bunker Hill by a margin of 4-0.
The Red Devils now sport a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Maiden for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Wednesday, October 25. Newton-Conover will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-14.
With the loss, Bunker Hill drops to 8-9 on the season. The Bears host Bandys (Catawba, NC) to meet the Trojans in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Wednesday, October 25. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 12-7. Bandys lost 7-1 in their recent league test against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)
