California High School Flag Football - Sheldon sneaks past Florin

October 23, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95829

The Sheldon Huskies flag football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Florin Panthers to 25 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Monterey Trail for a Delta League test on Thursday, October 24. Sheldon will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 26-6 league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, Florin drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Fairfield (Fairfield, CA) to meet the Falcons in a Greater Sacramento League test on Thursday, October 24. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 18-4. Fairfield won 44-12 in their recent league test against Johnson (Sacramento, CA)
