North Carolina High School Soccer - Hibriten toppled by Watauga
October 23, 2024: Lenoir, NC 28645 Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Watauga moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a Northwestern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 24. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 10-6. Ashe County won 2-0 in their recent league test against Freedom (Morganton, NC)
The Panthers now sport a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashe County for a Northwestern 3A/4A battle on Monday, October 28. Hibriten will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 10-7.
