In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Hanover Bears volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Laconia Sachems.

The Bears (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Golden Eagles enter the Division II challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Gilford was tipped by Oyster River (Durham, NH), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Sachems meet the Coe-Brown Academy Bears (Northwood, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Friday, October 25. Laconia will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH).
