The Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) football trounced the host Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX), 72-10 in Thursday's league outing.

The Bearcats now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Azle for a 5A-1 Region I District 3 game on Friday, October 31. Aledo will battle a Hornets team coming off a 35-13 league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 2-6.

The Royals (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets enter the 5A-1 Region I District 3 game with a 2-6 record.
