The Falkner Eagles felled the host Byers Lions football team by a score of 56-26 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Potts Camp Cardinals (Potts Camp, MS) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Falkner will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 38-6 league win over Ashland (Ashland, MS).

With the defeat, Byers drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Ashland (Ashland, MS) to meet the Blue Devils in a 1A Region 2 test on Thursday, October 30. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 0-8. Ashland lost 38-6 in their recent league test against Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS)
