Texas High School Football - Poteet overwhelmed by Midlothian Heritage

In Thursday's league game, the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) football team triumphed over the visiting Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX), by a tally of 52-20.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 6 game, on Friday, October 31. Midlothian Heritage will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 35-17 league win over Kaufman (Kaufman, TX).

With the defeat, Poteet drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Ennis (Ennis, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 5A-2 Region II District 6 outing on Thursday, October 30. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Ennis won 42-35 in their recent league outing against Crandall (Crandall, TX)
