The Mavericks now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cuthbertson for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 30. Marvin Ridge will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 27-7 non-league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-5.
The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Porter Ridge fell by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 35-10, in a non-league game.
