California High School Football - Verdugo Hills crushed by Poly
October 23, 2025: Sun Valley, CA 91352 Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football squad crush the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), 39-0 in a league test.
The Parrots now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arleta for a test on Friday, October 31. Poly will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Verdugo Hills drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Dons host Sylmar (Sylmar, CA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 30. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-5. Sylmar lost 35-0 in their recent non-league test against Arleta (Arleta, CA)
