California High School Football - Poly defeats San Fernando
September 5, 2025: San Fernando, CA 91340 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) and the host San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA), witnessed Poly's football squad topple San Fernando by a count of 20-6.
The Parrots (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Sylmar was topped by Marshall (Los Angeles, CA), 34-21, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Arleta for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. San Fernando will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 22-8 non-league loss to Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
