October 24, 2023: Roswell, NM 88201 The Goddard Rockets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lovington Wildcats to 0 in the Rockets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Rockets now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Artesia for a non-league game on Thursday, October 26. Goddard will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
The Wildcats (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams enter the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Portales dropped by Artesia (Artesia, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
