October 24, 2024: Stoneham, MA 02180 Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA), 42-21 in a league battle.
With the win, Stoneham advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA) to play the Warriors in a Middlesex - Freedom battle on Friday, November 1. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Wakefield Memorial won 28-12 in their recent league battle against Wilmington (Wilmington, MA)
The Red Devils now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Watertown for a Middlesex - Freedom battle on Friday, November 1. Burlington will play a Raiders team coming off a 32-0 league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
