October 24, 2024: Port Barre, LA 70577 The Oakdale Warriors were victorious over the host Port Barre Red Devils football team by a score of 33-14 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Avoyelles Mustangs (Moreauville, LA) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Friday, November 1. Oakdale will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 56-0 non-league win over Bolton Academy (Alexandria, LA).
The Red Devils (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Kinder (Kinder, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the 2A District 5 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Kinder ran past Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA), 46-7, in a league challenge.
