California High School Football - Archbishop Mitty loses to Saint Francis
October 24, 2024: Mountain View, CA 94040 Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), 37-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Saint Francis advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Lancers host Valley Christian (San Jose, CA) to play the Warriors in a battle on Thursday, October 31. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Valley Christian won 14-13 in their recent league battle against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)
The Monarchs now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Bellarmine College Prep for a battle on Saturday, November 2. Archbishop Mitty will play a Bells team coming off a 35-6 league loss to Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Bells record now stands at 3-5.
