North Carolina High School Football - West Rowan defeats Concord
October 24, 2024: Concord, NC 28025 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) and the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), witnessed West Rowan's football squad topple Concord by a tally of 36-12.
The Falcons (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, East Rowan thwarted South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 27-14, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Spiders confront the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 31. Concord will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Wonders enter the contest with a 9-0 record after their 15-12 league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
