The Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) volleyball knocked off the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Miners now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Spring for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 30. Mountain Ridge will clash with a Blazers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 10-5.
