October 24, 2024: Rock, MI 49880 The Mid Peninsula Wolverines volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Rapid River Rockets to 0 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Nah Tah Wahsh for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 29. Mid Peninsula will play a team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI). The record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Rapid River drops to 0-13 on the campaign. The Rockets host Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI) to play the Cougars in a Skyline outing on Tuesday, October 29. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 9-9. Superior Central won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI)
