October 24, 2024: Brooklyn, NY 11214 The New Utrecht Utes (Brooklyn, NY) volleyball held off the visiting Roosevelt Cougars (Brooklyn, NY), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Utes now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Kellenberg Memorial for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 26. New Utrecht will clash with a Firebirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Hempstead, NY). The Firebirds record now stands at 18-0.
With the loss, Roosevelt drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Gorton (Yonkers, NY) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 24. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 3-8.
