The Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) football knocked off the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV), 36-13 in Friday's league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Wendover for a 2A Northern contest on Thursday, October 30. Pershing County will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 34-12 league loss to Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-7.

Coming up next, the Longhorns battle the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons (Reno, NV) in a 2A Northern contest, on Thursday, October 30.
