The Incline Highlanders football team (Incline Village, NV), was crushed 46-0 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV)

With the victory, Pershing County betters its record to 6-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Yerington (Yerington, NV) to battle the Lions in a 2A Northern contest on Friday, October 10. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Yerington lost 56-14 in their recent league contest against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV)

Next up, the Highlanders encounter the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a 2A Northern bout, on Friday, October 17. Incline will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 26-6 league loss to North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA).
