North Carolina High School Football - Cedar Ridge loses to Carrboro

Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 14-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Carrboro advances its record to 1-8 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC) to play the Hawks in a Big Seven 4A/5A battle on Friday, October 31. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 4-5. Seaforth lost 44-39 in their recent league match against J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC)

Coming up next, the Fighting Red Wolves confront the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a Big Seven 4A/5A match, on Friday, October 31. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 2-7 record after their 16-8 league win over South Granville (Creedmoor, NC).
