The South Granville Vikings walloped the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves football team by a score of 48-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) in a Big Seven 4A/5A challenge, on Friday, October 10. South Granville will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 37-7 league loss to J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC).

The Fighting Red Wolves (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks go into the Big Seven 4A/5A challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Seaforth bounced Orange (Hillsborough, NC), 29-22, in a league challenge.
