In Friday's league battle, the host Carver Panthers football team scored a nice 40-12 win over the Lovett Lions.

With the win, Carver improves its record to 10-0 on the season.

The Lions now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a AA Region 5 match on Thursday, October 30. Lovett will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-0 league loss to Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
