California High School Football - Center falls to Wheatland

The Wheatland Pirates felled the host Center Cougars football team by a score of 29-12 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Wheatland will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 29-28 league win over Marysville (Marysville, CA).

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Bear River (Grass Valley, CA). The Bruins go into the Pioneer Valley League challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Bear River lost by Colfax (Colfax, CA), 45-34, in a league challenge.
