North Carolina High School Football - Chambers overwhelmed by West Charlotte

October 24, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28262

The West Charlotte Lions walloped the host Chambers Cougars football team by a score of 37-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A challenge, on Thursday, October 30. West Charlotte will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 41-0 league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Chambers drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Mavericks in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A test on Thursday, October 30. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 6-3. Mallard Creek won 44-22 in their recent league test against Butler (Matthews, NC)
