South Carolina High School Football - Eau Claire holds off Columbia

October 24, 2025: Columbia, SC 29210

The Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) football edged the host Columbia Capitals (Columbia, SC), 22-18 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Shamrocks battle the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a AA Region 3 game, on Friday, October 31. Eau Claire will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 4-5 record after their 38-35 league win over Chester (Chester, SC).

The Capitals (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Griffins enter the AA Region 3 game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Fairfield Central nudged Eau Claire (Columbia, SC), 49-20, in a league bout.
