California High School Football - Corning knocked off by Las Plumas

October 24, 2025: Oroville, CA 95966

In Friday's league game, the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) football team overcame the visiting Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), by a tally of 42-33.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a Westside League game, on Friday, October 31. Las Plumas will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 8-0 record after their 56-0 league win over Live Oak (Live Oak, CA).

With the defeat, Corning drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Orland (Orland, CA) to clash with the Trojans in a Westside League outing on Friday, October 31. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Orland won 56-6 in their recent league outing against Oroville (Oroville, CA)
