Arizona High School Football - Desert Sunrise tops Westview

October 24, 2025: Avondale, AZ 85323

The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks football team scored 49 points and held the host Westview Knights to 18 in the Golden Hawks league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Golden Hawks face the Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) in a 4A Southwest challenge, on Friday, October 31. Desert Sunrise will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 34-14 league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ).

The Knights (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Southwest challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Sierra Linda lost by Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ), 33-18, in a non-league test.
