Texas High School Football - Diboll trounced by Fairfield

The Diboll Lumberjacks football squad (Diboll, TX), was trounced 51-7 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, TX)

The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Panthers enter the 3A-1 Region III District 9 contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Westwood was trounced by Teague (Teague, TX), 42-20, in a league bout.

The Lumberjacks now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Crockett for a 3A-1 Region III District 9 bout on Friday, October 31. Diboll will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-18 league win over Huntington (Huntington, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
